it's finally finished.

Six months after he was born, I've finally finished Whitaker's nursery. Well, kinda. It still needs pictures on the walls, but we're a step closer. The idea was to put a modern spin on the 'ole baby blues.

spring forward

just keep thinking spring, just keep thinking spring...and in the mean time, just keep staying warm! (it's suppose to snow this week in OH) be jealous southerners, be jealous.

make snoopy proud

I guess you could say, to survive the frigid snow and freezing temps, we pretend it's July in March. The optician also recommended having Whitaker wear sun glasses around the house so that he would get use to them. Supposedly a large percent of UV damage to the eyes occurs within the first 5 years of a child's life. Plus, what kid wouldn't want a blue camo pair of shades???

it's no picnic

Picnik.com. LOVE IT! It's great for those of us who would aspire to be a photoshop queen, if only we had the time. They have tons of fun editing tools to play with. Check 'em out!

one, two, buckle my shoe..

little boys = red converses, muddy jeans, 'loved' superman tee and a handful of worms...thanks to Old Navy, we've got the converses covered. (for $4.00, who could beat it!?!)

it's a wash

Who knows, whit may just be the exception to the 'fat baby rule' and actually be able sit-up, crawl and walk at the same time as his peers. Well have to see. I was doing laundry and the next thing I know Whitaker is sitting up on the washer. I've found the more he focuses on things while he is sitting up, the better he is at keeping his balance. He's also slowly figuring out he has two hands and arms to help him out. Then again, he still loses his balance more often than not, but he is well on his way! (anything to give me relief from lugging all 24 lbs of him around the house, is a HUGE help)
