They say that pictures are worth a thousand words... and I'm to exhausted to type. Here are snapshots from our trip to the National Zoo. Though it wasn't all what we had hoped, we did walk away appreciating that we still have some time (short as it may be) to go places without carting along a 'mini me'.
We took the Metro down to DC. It was a short trip! Thank goodness for public transit systems. We also were pleasantly surprised that parking at the station is free on the weekends!
Who knew .3 miles uphill from the station to the zoo could be so exhausting.
The company Joel works for is actually a part of the renovation/addition. Joel put together the estimate when he was down in GA.
