Whitaker had his 2 week check-up today and tipped the scales at 11 lbs. 13 oz. HOLY SMOKES! He is 23 3/4 inches long putting him in the 99% for height and weight.

The visit went well- with the exception of the PKU test... the nurse had to work so hard to get blood and Whitaker just screamed, it was terrible. It was the first time I had heard him cry that much. My head was calm, but I felt my hormones go nuts...beads of sweat just poured from my forehead. If the test was optional i would have told her to forget it! Whitaker did recover quickly and was calm as calm can be the rest of the time.
