Unfortunately there was an unexpected death in the family. I've been running a million miles an hour in slow motion all day... My best friend Anna's mother passed away suddenly last night. She was an only child and her dad has been MIA most of her life. Her mom was her life and vice versa.
Anna was out of town in upstate Michigan when she got the phone call that her mom had gone to the hospital for a possible heart attack. They did a heart cath and found an aortic aneurysm, when they went in to repair it, there had been to much blood loss and they were unable to stabilize her blood pressure. She passed away on the operating table. Anna didn't get to the hospital until after her mom went into surgery. It's incredibly sad and shocking.
Arlene was 70, but had the life and heart of a 30 year old.
Whitaker and I will be flying out tomorrow afternoon to Ohio. The whole Valcore crew was in love with Anna and her Mom and will be attending the funeral with me on Monday. Please pray that I can be a comfort and encouragement for Anna during this traumatic time.
